A vacancy occurred in the Eastpointe City Council due to the passing of Mayor Pro-Tem Bill Sweeney. City Council put out a notice to residents to interview for appointment to the vacant position. Fifteen residents showed interest and twelve showed to the meeting. After a shorter-than-expected night, and deliberation at the end, I was selected for the appointment to Eastpointe City Council!
I am very honored to be appointed to the Eastpointe City Council and look forward to working for the residents of Eastpointe! My experience on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Millenial Mayors Congress has prepared me for this position. I am ready to take Eastpointe to the next level!
